BeamEd is a Windows compatible software which can be used to create PRT networks and to simulate the vehicle flow in the network under different conditions. BeamEd is available in a free version which can be downloaded below. More advanced functions where you can set the number of inhabitants, work places and shopping at each stop, simulate traffic flow which varies over the day etc will be available in licensed versions. All PRT networks shown in Examples are drawn and simulated with BeamEd.
